- I am a 26 year old leasing agent, for an apt community.I will be married 6yrs in August and we have a beautiful son.I however have been yearning to own my own catering company for as long as I can remember.I have been doing some research and my friend and I are working on making some head way to owning our catering company starting at home.

I did a little research and here are a couple of books you may want to consider:
~ How to Start a Home-Based Catering Business by Denise Vivaldo
~ How to Start a Catering Business: When You Don't Know What the Hell You're Doing by Jennifer Williams
Also, finding a mentor would be a great way to shorten the learning curve. You may find a class at a vocational school or an occupational school that offers inexpensive classes.
